Diabetes is a very serious disease that means that the amount of sugar (glucose) is too high in the blood and which also means that your body does not have enough insulin available to turn food into energy. What kind of damage you can face ? Its can damage your eyes, heart, kidneys, nerves, legs, and feet. Diabetes is a disease affecting 16 million people in this country, and you may be at risk if you are Hispanic, overweight, or do not exercise regularly.
